Laredo College is committed to helping students access the tools, support, and opportunities they need to succeed. Through the Student Success Acceleration Program 2.0 grant, the college has expanded resources designed to support students in their academic journey, including first-generation students, economically disadvantaged students, students with disabilities, pregnant and parenting students, and students with some college and no credential.
This resource hub brings together student supports made possible through the grant, including technology access, wellness resources, accessibility tools, hands-on learning opportunities, and support services for student parents.
Makerspace and Innovation Resources
The Makerspace provides students with opportunities to explore hands-on learning, creativity, design, and innovation. Available tools may include 3D printing, Cricut, sewing and embroidery equipment, podcasting resources, and other creative technologies.Wellness and Student Support
Student wellness is an important part of academic success. Through grant-supported resources such as TimelyCare, students may be able to access virtual health and wellness services designed to support their well-being.Support for Student Parents
Laredo College recognizes that many students balance school, work, family, and caregiving responsibilities. Through this initiative, the college is expanding resources for pregnant and parenting students.
